Adopts an ultra-thin ePTFE film that is less than 1/10 of the thickness of a hair made by a new coating technology.

Known for the NYXL series and XT series strings, D'Addario's exclusive NY Steel (High Carbon Steel Alloy) boasts overwhelming strength and tuning stability compared to traditional strings.

Fusion TWIST
Fusion Twist treatment prevents any tuning shifting caused by stringing loose.
This improves the stability of tuning and breakage durability.

■The difference between the "XT" series and "XS" series
D'Addario coated strings are available in the "XT" series and "XS" series.
The XT string coating construction uses a special micro-polymer coating on the winding string (winding) and a coating string that features a more closer feel to the non-coated string.
The new X-Small series uses ePTFE (Stretchable Porous Polytetrafluoroethylene) film which is 1/10 of the hair instead of micro polymers and is coated to cover the entire string.
